Code of conduct and anti-corruption

In DFPA, we work according to a code of conduct, which contains guidelines for employee behavior to protect children and vulnerable adults from abuse.

If an employee, volunteer, board member suspect, become aware of or witness harassment, abuse of children and vulnerable adults, abuse of power, irresponsible handling of entrusted funds or other violation of the Code of Conduct, they are required to inform a manager in the organization .

The same applies if an employee, volunteer, board member or others suspect, are made aware of or witnesses a violation of DFPA's anti-corruption policy.

If you do not feel comfortable reporting to a manager in the organization, you can report to IPPF SafeReport, which is DFPA's external reporting service.

Anti-corruption

At DFPA, we work for a world where everyone has the right to decide on their own body and sexuality. In order to get closer to this goal, we receive funds from both large donors, private contributors and other partners. These funds make a big difference in our work, and therefore it is important to us that the funds are not wasted on corruption. To best protect ourselves against this, we have developed an anti-corruption policy, which you can read here:

ANTI-CORRUPTION POLICY  ANTIKORRUPTIONSPOLITIK  POLITIQUE ANTI-CORRUPTION  سياسة مكافحة الفساد

The purpose of this anti-corruption policy is to support a work ethic characterized by high personal and organizational integrity, both internally and in relation to partners and donors. DFPA's statutes and DFPA's membership of the IPPF set clear requirements to prevent and fight corruption, and we will fulfill that responsibility by promoting transparency and democratic control in our own organization and with our partner organizations in the South and in the North.

Grievance mechanism

If a volunteer, employee, manager or a board member in DFPA or in a partner organization discovers a case of corruption, the person concerned is obliged to inform a manager in Sex & Samfund about this. If you do not wish to, or have the opportunity, to report to a manager in DFPA, you can always use IPPF's complaint mechanism, SafeReport, which can also be used by others outside DFPA to report about the abovementioned. The information will be processed by DFPA after notification from IPPF, so that we can follow up on the reporting.

IPPF SafeReport can be accessed here:

DFPA does not allow any form of reprisal or harassment against whistleblowers.

Disclosure

In DFPA, we want to be open about our financial and accounting practices. Cases of corruption, or cases of which, on the basis of justified suspicion of corruption, an investigation of the case has been carried out, will be published on the Association's website and can be seen here:
